About the Film

Social

Victor's Big Score, a story of love and hurricanes, premiered in Boston, Massachusetts in February 1992, where it played to enthusiastic crowds.

Variety praised the film as “genuinely funny” and “a tremendous calling card for writer-producer-director Brian Anthony.” Victor then went on to win the Best First Feature award at the Houston International film Festival.

After Victor was picked up for release, its distributor experienced a major

turnover in personnel and decided against releasing a number of films they legally

controlled—including Victor. Other than an occasional archival viewing, Victor's

Big Score has not been seen in over twenty-five years!

The film's director, Brian Anthony, has regained world-wide distribution

rights.

In 2019 Victor received a stunning 4K digital restoration from the original 35mm

film and sound elements.
