"I was a great admirer of Dave Van Ronk's music and asked Dave to record "Victor's Big Song" for the tail credits for my film "Victor's Big Score."  The song was written by John Voci, and recorded on the rainy evening of October 16, 1991.  We did it in three takes, the third being the keeper."
